Corrie's Updates!
( with input from brother Josh!)
Here is where I gave my password to my older rival sister to give updates  while I was on the trail.
My creative sister did a great job!. Key point and lesson learned- Never give your password to a SIBLING!

Greetings folks! I’m back again for another round of updates and inside scoops on the workings of my sister Laura Daugereau. For those of you who don’t know me let me introduce myself. My name is Corrie (Daugereau) Tienhaara. I am Laura’s eldest sibling. You’d probably hear her refer to me as her older or bigger sister but I prefer wiser or more experienced. Although depending on the nature of the experience that description may be inaccurate. I suppose when it comes to riding motorcycles, playing drums, living in tree houses or racing dogs she’s got me beat. As for the wiser of the two of us, the jury is still out.

Last year I took over the job of updating her site while Laura went down in history as the first woman from Washington state to run and complete the Iditarod Sled Dog Race. I also wrote a few stories about growing up with Laura (unbeknownst to her) which were a big hit with her fans. This year I am taking over the website a few weeks early to give her adoring masses some  other race updates including; Race to the Sky, The Canadian Challenge, and of course the Iditarod.  For all of you who enjoyed the stories of growing up with Laura I will be posting some new additions.  I could write stories about our childhood for a few more years and still not run out of material.

I want to thank all of you for showing my sister your support by following her life and adventures through this site. She has enjoyed hearing from you over the past year and is greatly encouraged by all of the notes she has received. I also appreciated the e-mails from people enjoying her updates. Please feel free to write and ask questions about the races, mushing in general, or even inquiries into my sister’s personal life i.e. hobbies, likes/dislikes, favorite color,  what she looks for in a man.  I would be more than happy to answer as many questions as possible.  I hope you enjoy sharing the culmination of another years hard work and join us as Laura sets out to reach ever forward towards achieving her dreams by living out her passion.

She could definitely teach a lesson to us all.
